Psoriasis Treatment in Bangkok
Psoriasis is a chronic, immune-mediated skin disease characterized by red plaques with silvery scale, most commonly on the scalp, elbows, knees, and lower back. It is often associated with psoriatic arthritis and may affect nails and palms/soles. Modern treatment options include highly effective biologic therapies that have transformed outcomes but must be prescribed and monitored by a board-certified dermatologist.
Siam Dermatology in Samut Prakan (Bangkok metropolitan area) treats psoriasis at all severities. Led by Dr. Patara Voravutinon, MD, Diplomate of the Thai Board of Dermatology (license 54323). Formerly Dr. Pat Skin Clinic.

- Biologic therapy — TNF inhibitors, IL-17, IL-23, and IL-12/23 inhibitors for moderate-to-severe disease.

Why see a board-certified dermatologist (not an aesthetic clinic)
Psoriasis is a systemic immune-mediated disease, not just a skin rash. Optimal care requires a board-certified dermatologist with experience prescribing and monitoring systemic and biologic therapies, and screening for associated conditions (psoriatic arthritis, cardiovascular and metabolic risk). Aesthetic clinics cannot provide this level of care.
