- Botulinum toxin (Botox) injections — FDA-approved for axillary hyperhidrosis; reduces sweating ~85% for 4-6 months per treatment. Also effective for palms, soles, scalp, face.
- Prescription topical — aluminum chloride solutions (clinical strength), glycopyrronium wipes.
- Oral medications — anticholinergics (oxybutynin, glycopyrrolate) for generalized hyperhidrosis.
- Iontophoresis — for palms and soles, where applicable.
- Newer options — microwave thermolysis, where available.
